Illustration Friday - Scale



The musicians are practising their scales,  much to the horror of the robbers lurking inside the house.  (They sort of decrease in scale, too).

Nice work again Cathy. I'm always amazed by how neat your hatching looks. Mine always turns out looking like a scribbled mess.

Thanks for the nice comments - the length of time an illustration takes depends on how much arranging and rearranging I do in Potatoshop, but this one took a full working day (7 hours).

Great drawing! I remember having a book as a child with the 'Bremer Stadsmuziekanten' in it. The picture used to scare me, I like yours much better!
