Illustration Friday - Superstition

Cecily was always very careful not to step on the cracks between paving slabs.  Someone at school had told her that the bears would get her if she did, and they may well have had a point.

I love the line work of this.
I always wondered why the sidewalks on my street are uneven.

Great illo. I like the line, composition, and expressions. I always thought "step on a crack break your mama's back" was the saying. Fear of bears is a much better deterent for a child.

Are they the necessity bears? Don't they just crack you up?
