Puflet, as a small water bird who feeds mainly on sand eels, is very concerned about the kind of cutlery you need to use when dining in posh restaurants.
Here is a fish fork.
The rest of the cutlery will follow in due course, but, for now, it has been noted that fish forks are a pertinent subject for discussion in various places on the Web.
Puflet, as a small water bird with webbed feet, is generally very interested in happenings on the 'web'.

I look forward to seeing the whole plaice setting :¬)
Am I going to be treated to a fish dinner? Afterall Puflet must be used to a big bill:¬)
Fish dinner? Sandeels feed on a staple Diet of Worms, which probably means they're Protestant, and I'd have thought this would go against your Pagan sympathies, Chris!
Other fish dinners I have investigated include maggots, flies and mealworms. Probably best if you just come to the palace for saveloys and chips!
Sandeels are Protestant?! I must admit I have bever given much thought to the religeous persuasion of fish.
You've put me right off the idea of a fish dinner, with talk of maggots and the like. A saveloy does sound more tempting, but don't you have anything a bit more sophisticated, like yourself.
But the saveloys at Puflet Palace are all very sophisticated chaps (or should that be chips?) !!!
Saveloy's have been mentioned three times now and not once have I gone for the double entendre.
...So like a saveloy...Do you think I'm cured? :¬)
And what a fantastic fish-fork it is, too.
Other commenters note, however, CAS has set a dangerous precident. If we can persuade the household that there is substantial web discussion on any given topic, it might get illustrated.
Anyone else been reading all those posts about unicycling ferrets recently...
Hi Elizabeth, so you are the inspiration behind the fish fork. I thought it was just CAS' off the wall sense of humour, (which is legendary in itself ;¬))
I forgot to say how beautifully rendered it was.
I'm afraid it's hard to get my brain around the concept of a unicycling ferret at the moment. It's been a long day.
But I guess in this day and age no job is for life. So if there is no longer a demand for a ferret down your trousers, then like the rest of us they must find a new career.
I'm glad puflet is concerned about the proper flatware to be used while dining...as opposed to washing the car , where flatware is all but useless ;)
