An apology ...

To anyone who has the faintest understanding of (typo) graphic design, for the post below about Mitchells Fold. Thing is, the preview function doesn't show you exactly what it's going to look like, and there are some real horrids in the layout. I've edited it three times to try and improve matters. That's how bad it was.

Excuses, excuses! Your mind is just elsewhere...Have you phoned that bloke yet?! :¬)

No, but I did email him - and he hasn't got back. Ergo, no need to phone!

'Hasn't got back' as in he hasn't got back from a dangerous mission behind enemy lines. Or as in he hasn't replied yet?

I have been tempted to talk to people I have met on the net, but I worry my voice would shatter any dellusions! ;¬)

Hasn't replied yet - but this could be because of the dangerous mission behind enemy lines. As he hasn't got back to me - well, I just don't know!

What's wrong with your voice? I'm intrigued now!

I'd watch these blokes that play hard to get. Although I could respect a bloke for playing women at their own game;¬)

Doesn't everyone dislike the sound of their own voice? I recon mine sounds like I've got a gay berkshire accent. Although a blind telephonist once said I had a nice voice.

Gay Berkshire accent? Not even sure what a Berkshire accent sounds like!

I think not bothering with blokes who play hard to get is a better option!

'Berkshire born Berkshire bred, strong in the arm, thick in the head.' So the saying goes. Apparently you can tell a Berkshire accent by the way you pronounce 'cow.'
